Toronto After Dark Film Festival is thrilled to officially announce the names of four fascinating filmmakers, who will be attending the festival to introduce their films and have a lively Q&A with fans following their screenings.
Flying in from Germany, the legendary filmmaker and former champion boxer UWE BOLL will introduce his fantasy epic, IN THE NAME OF THE KING: A DUNGEON SIEGE TALE (Sat, Oct. 20, 7.30pm). Following the screening, fans can look forward an unforgettable rematch between Uwe and his nemesis, local film critic Chris Alexander!
Troma film fans will rejoice to hear the news that the iconic LLOYD KAUFMAN returns to Toronto After Dark, to host the screening of his outrageous zombie chicken musical, POULTRYGEIST: NIGHT OF THE CHICKEN DEAD (Sun, Oct. 21, 9.30pm). Prepare for a clucking good time! JIM MICKLE the much-lauded director behind the award-winning zombie hit, MULBERRY STREET will be here with his cast and crew to host our Opening Gala Screening (Fri, Oct. 19, 7pm). While our Closing Gala crowd-pleaser, MURDER PARTY (Thurs, Oct. 25, 7pm), will be hosted by none other than the chainsaw-wielding brown knight himself, lead actor and co-producer of the film, CHRIS SHARP.
