Since 1971, Lloyd Kaufman, the iconic President of New York-based Troma Entertainment has directed, written, financed and produced over 100 independent films, including cult classics THE TOXIC AVENGER, SGT. KABUKIMAN, TROMEO AND JULIET and TERROR FIRMER, giving early starts to the careers of Billy Bob Thornton, Samuel L. Jackson, Kevin Costner and Matt Stone & Trey Parker (South Park). His latest film, POULTRYGEIST: NIGHT OF THE CHICKEN DEAD will be released this November.

When he's not making movies, Troma Entertainment President Lloyd Kaufman devotes his time sharing his vast knowledge of independent horror, action and cult film production, with thousands of aspiring filmmakers worldwide. Toronto After Dark Film Festival, in association with Troma Entertainment is proud to bring Lloyd's world-famous Master Class to Toronto, for an exclusive one-day only engagement at the University of Toronto campus.
At the end of this informal, informative, and often hilarious two and a half hour Masterclass, students will leave with dozens of creative and practical tips that are invaluable to aspiring filmmakers.
